The program helped me when it came to socializing and trying different things that can add to our skills.
The best experience for me was when I traveled to Chicago with my friends. [Th program] boosted my self-confidence [and] my supervisor is nice to me and easy to get along [with].
I learned to communicate with people. It enhanced my communication skills [that] I will use in my future jobs.
I think I can easily get a job when I try to apply here in the Philippines because of my [Work and Travel USA] experience.
It was great to know people [employers] who were willing to teach us about things to be done on work, people who care about you not only their worker but a part of their family.
I would like to commend and salute HRInternational for the splendid job they are doing not only for the schools, more so for the students. We saw how sincere and genuine they are. It's not just letting the students experience overseas, but is is more of a mission. I see how they really take good care of the children.
It was great practice, especially for us students who have no experience in working.

They are really friendly. We have constant communication among the coordinators of HRI.
My best experiences were when the guests appreciate what I did to them…and when I got nominated as [the] 5-star of the quarter and scored 100% in a 5-star audit!
On employers: Our employer is very approachable. The owner of Mt. Olympus is very simple. During busy days, they helped us in cleaning, too! Every season they always have an employee's party. It was a great experience to be an intern in the USA.
The HRI staff is very accommodating and friendly, and they are easy to approach. You can feel that.
Right now, I am handling the business of my family and I am applying all the things I have learned while in America.
The students are fantastic. When I come to the Philippines, I notice how great [the] hospitality is there. The students do work well in the hospitality there in the United States. I think English levels are better than most. Their personalities -- they're all very bubbly, friendly, and that's exactly what we look for.
Going to another country was a new experience and in our degree, hospitality management, we are being trained to be hospitable in every way and anywhere.
The program made me who I am today and it molded me as a better person.
It was a helpful and great experience especially for me who'll soon be working in the hospitality industry. The program helped familiarize the background and the operations of the industry as well as practice my speaking and communication skills that is relevant to my degree.
Hyatt Regency is the best! I learned a lot of things from them and my co-workers. The managers was very nice and fair to us. I also met a lot of friends and I traveled to different places: NYC, Washington, San Francisco, Chicago, Milwaukee, Las Vegas, Los Angeles. I learned about hotel operations and management, and mostly, I had a lot of experiences that can help me with my future career.
Aside from traveling, the work itself was really great experience.

My field is also about food and beverage and how to manage a business. We learned actual work and experience and how to deal with the customer.
The best experience for me was to have friends of different nationalities, such as Thais, Americans, Mexicans, Columbians, Peruvians, Bralizians, Europeans and Jamaicans. We got together for our parties and went to different towns in Wisconsin.
It's a lifetime experience. He wanted to get experience. But you have to invest and the investment is worth the experience.
