With the 2019 20 ACC Basketball schedule released https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/tony-bradley-jersey-c-6.html, we take a look at the odds to win the conference as it stands now
We are just under two months away from the start of the 2019 20 college basketball season with the North Carolina Tar Heels tipping off vs. Notre Dame in early November.
UNC’s home opener will be against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent, a unique matchup that is a product of the conference Customize Jersey going to a 20 game schedule. While the Tar Heels will unofficially tipoff their season later this month with “Late Night With Roy” it’s never too early to talk college basketball.
The ACC released their new 20 game schedule on Thursday night as each team now has their full schedule for the upcoming season. But with that schedule released, did anything change in terms of the favorites?
After finishing in a tie https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/shea-rush-jersey-c-7.html with eventual National Champion Virginia atop the ACC Regular Season Standings, the Tar Heels will enter 2019 20 with the third best odds to win the conference per the lines in Vegas. UNC currently sits at 9/2 odds with Duke at 5 2 and Virginia at 11/4

The Tar Heels lost five of their top six scorers from a year ago to the NBA Draft or graduation and will look to replenish the talent with a recruiting class that features Cole Anthony, Anthony Harris and Armando Bacot. They will also add graduate transfers Christian Keeling and Justin Pierce to help replace that production.
Duke lost talented freshmen Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/isaiah-hicks-jersey-c-5.html, and Cam Reddish but welcome in a Top 5 recruiting class. As for Virginia , the defending National Champs lose Ty Jerome, Kyle Guy, De’Andre Hunter and Jack Salt. But they also welcome back Kihei Clark , Braxton Key and Mamadi Diakite as well as transfer Sam Hauser.
These three teams should be contending for the top all season long but don’t be surprised if another team hangs in there and makes a run as well.
